Grant Turner just told Strombo he's willing to talk to the Green Party. It'd be rather neat to have a Green MP while the Clean Air Act is being debated.http://www2.parl.gc.ca/HousePublications/Publication.aspx?

Grant Turner? :P
Yeah, I've heard a hell of a lot of speculation about this potential move today. I should really be logging in to the Green Party boards to see what the buzz is there. And I definitely think it would be nice to have a Green MP...

I didn't think it was possible for anyone to be more useless than the Liberals on environmental issues, but the Conservatives have somehow managed to. I mean, we're lagging the Bush administration. Can you get any lower than that?

I haven't seen it yet. I really should. I'm not sure if I'll like it, though - I've read a few reviews that suggest that Gore took a number of "liberties" with the facts. I don't think that helps our cause in the long run, so I hope it's not true.

Wiki says that the vast majority of scientists have given the nod to the science he presents . . . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_Inconvenient_Truth

I know how easily things can be misrepresented, but global warming is scientific fact. There is NO debate, just a few (very few) radicals who are funded by the oil industry.
