livindeadcomics had to work in Hamilton today, but when we woke up at 6:00, the traffic report was basically, "stay off the roads for a bit". So we had a nice breakfast (oatmeal!) together, and then he drove me to work. Much better than the bus ( Read more... )

Chipping my car out this morning was fun - it was covered in ice, but the ice was really brittle, so it shattered everywhere and made tons of noise. Love waking up all the people who don't have to go to work with vigorous ice-scraping activity :D

you can roast coffee beans in an air popper? like a popcorn air popper?

Yep! Check your popper, and make sure the air vents point to the side (as opposed to up) - if they do, then you're good to go! It only takes about 5 minutes. :)

I don't have a regular air popper, mine kinda is more like a dome... but my sister has one! maybe she can roast some beans for me... that is such a cool thing to know about :)
