I wish that the closeness to AC was not as big of a factor as it has been. I am having to save up a lot more then usual this year, as I am not even sure that the truck will make it the entire way, so I may be forced into buying a new vehicle. That is what is really cramping my budget at the moment.

You can be assured that I will find a way out to WTF next year no matter what, even if I have to sell a kidney or something.

You never failed anyone, prpl. If AF wasn't meant to continue than it just wasn't. The hotel was fraught with problems from the get go, and the air conditioning in '07 really took the cake. All the hours you spent managing con registration and ensuring that everything was kept in order was a crucial task that not just anyone could have spent a whole con doing. But no one should have expected you to suddenly carry the whole con by yourself, and you shouldn't be hard on yourself for it.

I was really hoping to see you at WTF, but I totally understand given how close AC is. I'm hoping to put in an appearance at AC even if it is just for a couple of days, but it's hard to say what will happen. Definitely going to try for a visit to Kingston over the summer, though. :)

As for everything else, it was all just one of those down moments that I have from time to time. I did do a lot of work, but I didn't do it all alone. I just wish that I could help out the WTF crew this year, but other things are conspiring against me.
