It could have been much worse, which is why it's always good to remember just how fast it can happen. I've had some near misses in my life and I have a hell of a lot more respect for getting my ass run down now.

that was real close!! but you gotta take care of that neck of yours or it will have long term effects. i had to wear a neck brace for a while after some nut crashed into my car :(

That sucks!! The person who hit you guys wasn't paying attention or what?! Keep talking about the crash until you feel you've worked it out of your system, that was a scary thing you went through.
