Life is hard sometimes

After a positively blissful 5 days in a row, I have kind of crashed a bit. Every time I start to get depressed I wonder if it is really me that is depressed, or Adam. I have never been the type to get depressed often, though it has happened a few times through the years, but Adam seems depressed at least half the time... He tries to hide it I think

You love Adam, of course you're sensitive to his feelings and you hate seeing him in pain. What you two are going through is a potentially HUGE change in your lives, and change is always upsetting. Sometimes my girlfriend gets depressed and I feel so helpless, because there's nothing I can do. I can make jokes about calling the magical chromosome fairy, or offering my organs so she can have a womb transplant, but when it comes down to it, I am utterly helpless. Still, since my girlfriend started presenting as female full-time the change in her moods has been DRAMATIC. She is so much more relaxed, at ease and comfortable with herself. I just try and concentrate on our future, because I know it will be fantastic
