I had a lovely weekend! Anna and I had another night bike, I got to see pretty much all of my close friends either on Saturday or Sunday, and I got to spend some more time with Anna's mom and buy her dinner (takeout Chinese, mmmmmmm ( Read more... )

"you only get one life.. don't live it for other people. It's yours."

Yeah, that kinda sums it up, huh? It can be easy to lose sight of that. I think I may have to say those exact words to Anna...

And thank you for the tmi! I have heard a few depressing stories of people who weren't exactly okay in that department, but I feel very optimistic for Anna and I because we are so attracted to each other now, and I just don't see how her being more comfortable with herself could negatively impact that. It is nice to hear someone else validate that belief though!

And thank you for the nice comments on the T-shirts. We have yet to sell anything, but then they have only been up for a few days, and I am still optimistic!

YOu spelled rhinoplasty correctly. I checked.
Heidy is drooling over a couple of shirts- and when we are in funds- absolutely I want to buy!
I have a signature on yahoo- actually two. Both sum up living for me.

Yay! So glad to hear you like the shirts. Which ones does she like? We might take some off as we add new designs and I wouldn't want to remove one that is well-liked!

I love your quotes, The first especially. It reminds me of what Anna and her therapist talked about. That no matter how much of your life is defined by gender identity and gender stereotypes, it is important to remember that YOU exist in a form not defined by gender.

she likes the heart designs and the lesbian design
Are you going to run other colors- Heidy is fond of purples and blues as well as pink- I'm a green and red kinda girl myself
Money is a little tight right now-We had to replace a rotor and caliper on the car- and since our budget was shot already- we had to do something we hate- check loans-to fix the problem. Fortunately we had someone to help us fix the car!
Hey a couple of days' rest is EXACTLY what I needed(I'm busy 7 days a week with school and work- and I hope to get a salon going in the future that will cater to "alternative" lifestyles.(I've even found a prospective partner for it- but it's at LEAST 5 years in the future)I'm hoping to do other things in addition to the salon- so I am keeping options open

Can I just say, first of all, me and Alice are really jealous that Anna will have access to hormones so quickly! At the moment all my energies are focused on keeping Alice's spirits up and saying "just a few more months and then you can start hormones... and after 6 months you can have your trachea shave... and 6 months after that you can apply to change your birth certificate... and then a year or so later we'll be preparing for SRS, and in a few years time you'll look back and the months will have FLOWN by ( ... )
