My Summer Music List
Because elle_blessing did it, I wanted to do it too! ^^ My summer music list. I'm afraid it will be purely youtube as I do not currently have the means to upload songs. Wait... Yes I do. Yay for obscure sites! *uploads* Never mind, I'm running into copyright laws and I don't want to be run off this particular site.
1. Moves Like Jagger
This song won my heart with "take me by the tongue". Maroon 5 always has a fantastic way of singing about explicit sex without swearing or any blunt phrases.
2. It Will Be Me
I was watching the cute Disney cartoon Brother Bear 2 and all of a sudden the lyrics "if you hear a voice, in the middle of the night, it will be me". I burst into tears and cling to Charles. He was so confused because he hadn't been watching the movie with me. ^^ But yeah, basically I was really able to relate to the song.
3. Country Song
If nothing else, watch it for the music video. They must have had so much fun with this. This song is very different from all of Seether's other songs. But I found it to be a wonderfully unique mix, I hope you can enjoy it too. ^^
4. Fuckin' Perfect
A song I'm sure a lot of people can relate to. But frankly... Every word went straight to my heart. If it never played at work and I didn't have to make myself ignore this song, I'd probably burst into tears every time it played too.
5. This Is War
Never mind that 30 Seconds to Mars is a fucking amazing band, watch the music video. They have a great tendency to make an impact.
6. Transparent
Found this through a friend of mine, I'm pretty sure it's rather old. New for me though. ^^ It's just so happily sinister, I had to fall in love with this song.
7. Rain
Another old song, but new to me. Ever have those days where you just wish the rain cloud following you around would go away? And that one person that could shed a bit of sunlight on your thoughts is mysteriously absent. No response to calls, or texts.
Yes, I'm pretty sure he's gay too.
8. Red Fraction
From the soundtrack of the anime Black Lagoon. Caught my immediate attention and I even gasped when I heard "you make me violate you, no matter who you are". Yay for sinister and violent. ^^
9. Arms
"you put your arms around me and I believe that it's easier for you to let me go". Who hasn't had a relationship like this.
10. Jar Of Hearts
Or this one. Her voice is just so beautiful.
11. Good Life
Especially right now in my life, I'm holding on to the hope that this "has got to be the good life" and wondering why the threads are coming apart in my hands.
12. Give Me Everything (Tonight)
Charles and I fell in love with song at the same time and we totally rock out to it every time we hear it. It's pretty fantastic.
