La la la, hello

In approximately 24 hours I shall have a big-ass cup of coffee. I don't care if I don't even really want it at the time, I don't care that it'll make me jittery and shaky and nauseated. It's been six weeks, and I waaaaaaants it, Precious! Bring on the end of Lent!

ION, the Older Sister is visiting for the weekend, updating me on her dramatic life and snoozing on my couch. She leaves on Sunday, which leaves all day Monday for me to be a hermit crab and maybe get some writing done, yippee!

I just re-read a fic I beta'd for exbex, Seeing. Ex has a fantastic talent for a sort of dreamlike prose that conjures up (in me, at least) a pleasant melancholy. It's made me want to plan a long walk (need to get decent shoes) and listen to my "Songs for a Wet Wednesday" playlist, and then re-listen to akamine_chan's Untune the Sky. If the weather could conspire to provide me with low clouds and a light drizzle, that would make my plan complete.

One of my recent resolutions was to get better at keeping up with the M*A*S*H rewatch over at 4077th_watch, which I have been doing, and enjoying greatly.

Also, I just finished watching the first season of Community (which I love and adore), and I have three things to say. Firstly, and most obviously, Abed is a god. Secondly, the paintball episode is my favourite. Lastly, WTeverlivingF?!

And finally, I sent a clipping in to The News Quiz, and will spend the rest of this season on the edge of my seat, waiting for them to use it. They didn't this week :( so here's this URL, instead. The article's about the new online copyright laws in NZ. This is thanks to some bright spark on Twitter, who let as many people as possible know about it.
