Bah, don't worry about reading them out of order. I posted them in a ridiculous and nonsensical manner, so it's totally my fault - and besides, I wrote them to work as stand-alones as well, so it really doesn't matter which you read first (I think).

See, this is why I need to stop getting all neurotic about posting things: I never even thought about all the possible interpretations of "you fell," and now you've added layers of meaning I didn't even know were there. *goes off to rethink entire story*

But this here - Dean zoning in on his baby brother and Sam just utterly getting it and making that deal about his knees - that was the most important part for me, and you've put it into words perfectly. <3

OMG. Beautiful descriptions and such vivid imagery. If this is the end of this story, I will live. But if Dean comes back, or Sam figures out what happened, well, I wouldn't complain.
