Aw, man, you had me at the title!

Eek, I love this series. I don't have time to write my usual essay right now (and the room breathes a collective sigh of relief), but oh, God, again with the water and Dean making noises like old pipes (I actually can't decide if I love you or am so jealous of you I hate you) and I just love the image of the two of them shoulder to shoulder on the bathroom floor, even broken or exasperated or lost, because in the end, they don't know how not to be together.

Oh, and I lol'd at the 5'9" college student with kinky red hair, because that's not a bad way to describe yours truly at the mo.

Crazy late, but -

Thank you so much! I'm so very glad you like the random water motif as much as I do. And this, this: in the end, they don't know how not to be together is a perfect way of summing up their relationship. It also makes me feel a lot better about writing things that seem to edge ever closer to Sam/Dean, because it's hard to find a way of understanding that NEED for closeness outside of a romantic relationship, and the way you worded it makes a ton of sense to me. So again, thanks. (Oh, and 5'9" with kinky red hair is awesome. I'm kinda jealous now.)

You FOOOOUUND it! (And then I kinda disappeared, sorry. Can we exchange apologies?)

I'm so glad this Sam makes sense to you - he feels like a crazy potpourri of every season's Sam, and I'm always afraid he's a little inconsistent or weird. But I like how you've made sense of everything here, especially what you said about Sam feeling frustrated because he feels clueless, because Sam strikes me as the kind of person who likes to know where he is and what do to about things, and that's so very much not the case here. And Dean...yeah, he broke my heart a little too - he just did not want to engage at all, period. So please do hold him and kiss his cheeks all you like. He needs it, poor armadillo.

Wow, this is a really great series. I'm loving it so far and really wondering if you've continued (or plan on continuing) it anymore. Your characterizations of Dean's post-Purgatory PTSD and Sam dealing with it are both amazing. Really great.
