helelcoolj has been bugging me for the past few weeks to watch Shiki, which she describes as Higurashi except with homolust up the wazoo. We went home on the bus together with another friend who watches it on Thursday, and I was like "FINE GUYS, STOP HARASSING ME ALREADY, I'LL WATCH IT LATER." She glared at me and was like "AND BY 'LATER' SHE MEANS 'NEVER'.

I also must finish Higurashi, I left it off somewhere after the beginning of season 2.

And I never finished Higurashi's first season...lmao I left off in the middle of Rika's arc, I think.

Everyone tells me it gets so much better in s2, but I lent the DVDs to some idiot who's never giving them back to me ¬__¬ so now I have to re-download/stream it, meh. I loved the first season SO MUCH though, I love weird series like that :D
