WHY THE FUCK WAS I NOT PROPERLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS EPISODE????
OKAY SO, I WAS TOTALLY DEFINITELY LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE ALREADY BECAUSE Y'KNOW, CASTIEL AND ALL, BUT THE PROMOS FOR THIS EPISODE WERE MAKING ME GO |: SO I WASN'T ALL THAT PUMPED
BUT GOOD GOD, THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING!
First things first: LISA. I've said over and over again that I was extremely indifferent toward her character even though I loved Ben to bits, but HOLY SHIT. SHOW MADE ME LOVE HER. polar_puchuu can testify that I was capslocking "LISA YOU BAMF OMG" at her during every scene Lisa had and just. THE GUN SCENE. THE GUN SCENE!!!
(Honestly, I was a little uncomfortable with Dean's total ~*heart-to-heart*~ with her 'cause, y'know, it's Dean, but STILL. SHOW HAS REDEEMED ITSELF.)
I was laughing so hard through the first half of the episode. The baby shopping. (Puchuu: "I CAN HEAR THE GAY SAM/DEAN JOKES ALREADY.") The alcohol. Puchuu and I were just like "YESSSS" because it's definitely shaping up to be like S1, only with funny and CASTIEL!!! (yes, the emphasis was needed...dude, Castiel isn't even my favorite character, wtf self)
But Ben going through the Impala's trunk. Just. That scene. I want to fic a coda to it. Really, really badly. The first thing that went through my head was, "Oh my God. Writing future-hunter-verse Ben/Claire right the fuck now." then I went OTL because I thought, "I am a horrible person." (I don't even know why I ship Ben/Claire. Seriously. There are like a grand total of maybe two people in all of fandom who write it and one also writes Jesse/Claire, which I also gave a shot, but found did not like the idea as much as Ben/Claire.)
LAST TIME SHOW ALMOST GOT ME TO CAVE AND WRITE FIC FOR FANDOM WAS 5.04, GAIZ. OTL
But oh God, I love how the show set up Castiel's return. While Sam and Dean were all being all WTF DO WE DOOOO about the shifter alpha, I kept thinking, "WHY AREN'T YOU GUYS ASKING CASTIEL, YOU IDIOTS" and and and CASTIEL'S COMING BAAAAAAACK
Also. Grandpa Campbell is a sneaky motherfucker. And snarky as hell. I'm starting to like the guy.
And the Campbells are totally a cult.
...oh, Mary, you poor woman.
AND IMPALA. Like, when Dean put her back under the tarp and when he met Sam in the truck, I WAS CRYING INSIDE for the Impala. THEN DEAN TOOK HER OUT AGAIN AND I WAS LIKE FFFFFFFF BABY YOU'RE BACK /TEAR
i was laughing through the ENTIRE SCENE because of how amazingly epic it was.
WAS TOTALLY NOT EXPECTING EPISODE TO END RIGHT THERE, THOUGH. I WAS LIKE WHUT WHEN THE END CREDITS SHOWED AND WAS ALL "NO IT'S NOT 10 IT CAN'T BE 10 FUCK IT'S ALREADY 10???"
