Just got back from The Dark Knight. Bit fried. No spoilers this morning, but what a fast 2.5 hours. Hopefully more thoughts tomorrow.

(Saw Watchmen and T4 trailers, cautiously optimistic about both).

ETA. Cannot sleep, laying in bed in overstimulated coma.

I keep hearing positive things. Now I'm intrigued! although I actually have yet to watch Batman Begins, so. ;)

It's really really really good (I saw it at one of the midnight showings with a packed house and everyone seemed to like it too - but then of course an audience like that would be predisposed to ;)). Really dark - but really good. I would compare it more to good noir films, like Chinatown or LA Confidential, rather than the standard superhero movie (not that it isn't a good superhero movie too, but also twisty and thinky as well).
Er. I would see Batman Begins first though, esp. if you haven't seen/read much Batman, but really even then, because his character arc starts there. (the first movie has Katie Holmes, who is okay, and the second has Maggie Gyllenhaal as the same character and she's so much better, but over all the supporting/ensemble cast is just tops).

Um, yes, so I liked it. ;)
