I'm reading shogun. I think I've been reading it since shortly after your last book post. It's a long book.

lol :)

Hee, how did you end up reading that, and how do you like it?
I think there's also some epic miniseries based on it?

Well my bf was "reading" it when I met him, like 3 years ago. He never finished it, but he foisted it off on me saying "mabye if you read it, and then we watch the miniseries, I'll get excited enough to try reading the book again!"

Somehow I don't think that will happen, but so far it's a good book. I'm about just over 2/3rds into it. :) So the tension in the book is at an all time high!! *bites her nails*

It is a good book, though it drags in a few parts but it's mostly just that you're reading and reading and it is such small type that it goes really slow. So even though you're enjoying it, you think, "will I EVER reach the end?!"

Heh, that has happened to me a few time with super long books, where you're like all, yes this is all very exciting, but can we please GET ON WITH IT, except then with me it probably means I will abandon the book before the end (it seems pretty much a rule with me that either I'll read long things super fast all at once, or get stuck and never finish), so yay for your perseverance!
