They do vids for previouslys! And the first one was like the best thing ever. And okay, so it was mostly just the last two episodes of first season (which OMG), but how cool is that (and it may go on to second season, I don't know yet!) -

Random Justice League / Jossverse crossover love.
In the JLU episode Hunter's Moon Nathan Fillion voices a cowboy superhero called Vigilante (the accent isn't quite Mal, but its oh so close). And in the same episode Gina Torres does the voice for a supermodel/superhero called Vixen. And they team up.

Jennifer Crusie's website has posted her Buffy essay (specifically, its about Buffy's romances) and I think its a very interesting read. She is definitely Buffy/Spike sympathetic (which, I think, fits given the relationships in her books. Almost finished with rewatching the first season of Hex (for the uninitiated, its a British show that basically takes a load of Buffy's bullet points and makes a completely different series out of them, but if you reduce it back down to summery they sound almost exactly the same) and can't help but imagine Angel getting all snotty at comparison ( Read more... ) -

I rented the newish movie version of Phantom of the Opera tonight because I hadn't seen it and the Wicked love has refreshed my love of musicals, but anyway, its kind of awesome and aweful at the same time.
