I'm still loving it here, loving all the people and whatnot, but especially loving the dig. I get these crazy adrenaline highs and feel so elated while I'm doing hard labour. It's kind of crazy, but who cares when I love it so much. I crash a bit in the afternoon, but somehow I've yet to take a nap. I'm paranoid it will mess up my sleeping

There's something to be said about get dirty by *dirt*. For instance, "You can't get dirty from mud. That's muddy." etc. Also, getting dirty when you're expecting to get dirty is wonderful. And wonderful to clean it off too. I'm going to have to make plans to get dirty some time soon.

PS. Do archaeology in Grad school!
