On the Third Day of Christmas...

I'm not speaking to any of you.

On the Third Day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:
ThreeFrench Hens,
TwoTurtle Doves,
and A Partridge in a Pear Tree.

Three French Hens. Given the current acrimonious relationship between the U.S. and France, I doubt the French would be all too willing to lend us their gamey birds. Add that to the rising fear of Bird Flu -- those darn terrorist birds, you gotta watch out for them -- those pesky shipping costs, and you can pretty much forget about getting a hen from your true love. But, hey, it's Christmas, let's throw caution to the wind and go for it! It'll only cost you $15 a bird. That's practically a steal!

So, to recap, Day Three will bring:
1). Three French Hens = $45.
2). Two Turtle Doves = $40.
3). A Partridge in a Pear Tree = $105.

The cost of the Third Day of Christmas? $190.

Thinking this is getting a little expensive? Heh, you ain't seen nothing yet. The Cost of Christmas (so far): $440. Until tomorrow. Happy Birthday!!
