So trying my first entry into LJ shootout.The prompt is to pick your favorite place to photograph from and then include a picture you took from the spot..This is part of a short wall and statue at the Netherlands cariliion near the Iwo Jima memorial and just outside Arlinton cemetary.

The DC skyline is a great subject and you did a great job with it. Good, balanced composition. Love it. That's the moon rise, right? At about 6:30 on February 28th?

Tricky shot, because you've only got about five minutes before the moon isn't between the Capitol dome and the Washington Monument anymore. And the light for good depth of field is not your friend.
