38 hours with the girl

The past day and a bit has been interesting, got my hair cut, and finally decided to go clean shaven so i have dissapeared back into "boy looks" hehe. i know some of you were fans of the shaggy hair but it just gets in my eyes a little too much and annoys me

Well, all I can say is that love happens when you are least expecting and/or when you almost have given up or something.
That's all I can say, really.

That girl is very dedicated to someone she loves. Such people are quite rare breed, indeed, because in this day and age, it seems like people are more into having 'fun', not giving 'affection' to each other.

I am sorry it did not work out. But do not give up, please?

yeah i know the waiting thing about love, its crazy. i knew there would be some catch to miss gwen she seemed to ... "right" if you know what i mean. ahh well :)

I think simply admire her dedication, and if it took the affects of another (i.e me) to make her realise that then all the more power to them right?

i dont get the whole "fun" casual approach to relationships. without the dedication then anything phyiscal just feels empty and meaningless. i dont have anything against people who are not like this... but personally i need there to be a connection in anotehr way.. not just physically.

i tweaked the firewall ayt work so i could get lj running the other week, and for some reason it takes a good 15 minutes for the entries to actually update which is strange. i didnt realise this so i just thought it wasnt working. i have attempted to delete the extra ones so hopefully this will take effect soon!

KENOSHA? fuck. i lived there for seven years... i don't know anyone named Gwen there but it's a nice place. people are a hell of alot nicer in the southern part of the state (kenosha is the last place before you drive into illinois), and right on the lake.

my whole family is from the Chicago/Milwaukee area (dad's mum/dad moved to Chicago from the U.K in the early fourties), and my mum's mum/dad were from Milwaukee.... the people tend to be pretty nice.

i don't know why in the fuck that my immediate family now lives back up here again, but i guess that's that.

if you want to think that wisconsin girls are cute, you go right ahead. i think we're scary. see examples on my LJ.

hehe, i dont know, Gwen is my only experence of the wisconsin girl. she has only been in kenosha for the past year .. and most of that she has spent in australia. she moved from somewhere slightly south.. apparently it was about 40 min from chicago.

shes a little indie/ska girl with short blonde hair. apprently worked in a gas station in kenosha.

half her family is in melbourne.

i know so little about the USA but quite a bit about kenosha after spending time with her. teehee.

and yeah shes told me about lake kenosha :)

i really want to go there now. hehe. so where do you live now?
