Thursday was my last day of working at the studio...and yes, I did cry when I left. It's pretty neat, though, to be sad when you leave a place of employment, isn't it? I have decided that I've been a piano teacher for too long. Tonight, I was sitting down, beading the bottom half of the bodice for my wedding gown. I glanced down and realized that I was nearly half-way finished with that section.

How nice! I thought. I'm nearly half-way done with the bass clef.

I've been disciplining myself to get up every morning and take a walk (after Wes and I finish with our devotions--via cell phone--wonderful technology!) and decided to take a camera along a couple of days ago. By looking at the pictures, you'd never guess they come from oh-so-humid and incredibly flat Texas, would you? :)

And it was a blast. A lot of work, but totally worth it. :) I got to spend 2 whole days with Wesley, so that made everything just perfect.
