Evolution in action
Pigeons here in NY are evolving.
One spoke to me today in the parking lot of Pet Smart. Yes, this sounds odd, but I'm not joking. Half way between my car and the door a parrot-like voice said, "Hi there." I turned around to see a pigeon staring at me. It nodded its head and walked away.
I wonder what secrets their race holds...
