But you pay MD taxes! Nooooo! I guess you were just interested in Maryland for the in-state tuition, eh? ;P

Hey, as a random aside, would you be interested in visiting Mexico with me this summer for two weeks [or shorter]in August? I have this mad idea of maybe brushing up on my Spanish before school starts in the fall.. I'm thinking of Guanajuato and enrolling in a language school..

Sarah, don't worry!
UMD denied my residency even when I pointed out that I had calimed residency at the same house in MD for 22 years. It is because they are retarded and money-grubbing. If you call up and bitch about it, they will fix it. Sort of. The people who work there are not exactly brilliant, but they will eventually fix it if you stay on their backs.

Not to mention that it's a pain in the ass to deal with any state school because of their large and unorganized bureaucratic systems. The departments never seem to relay any information to other departments.

How can they get away with denying your residency when your car registration, license, and voter registration are all in MD?
