so, to add to the continuous stream of lj grad school discussion that seems to be the primary topic on my friends list... i got into Colorado State, but i'd rather go to Carolina for similar cost. DU also sucks and the financial aid package they gave me does not really make me think I can really afford to go there

oooh, if you get your Master's in Frozen Custard Delights, followed by a PhD Assorted Yummy Things, I will hire you. I don't have any money, but I will find money to hire you. That stinks to hear that. Have you looked into applying for private scholarships through the School of Social Work? I know DU Law has some privately funded scholarships that are awarded by donors instead of the school, so maybe the School of Social Work has some of those.
