i love some of my friends sometimes.
they finally did it! they took the big leap, despite the "advice" of others. i'm so happy for them!

other friends, not so much. but lets not get into that.

i wish that could happen to me.

I want to start off by saying that we all want wonderful relationships, Pat. Unfortunately, we aren't all that lucky or aren't just willing to settle for something when we deserve much better. And second, I am pretty confident that this "advice" you speak of relates to me, but that's okay because I was simply relating my honest opinion to one of my very best friends. It didn't matter if he listened but I just wanted him to know what I thought.

didn't think this much drama could happen in such a short time. Well, I want to start off by saying that the bit about "wanting a perfect relationship" was really bitchy. don't really know where that came from, because you sound kind of bitter about the fact that i want a relationship, which makes no sense. Also, you always used to remind me to be careful with what i said around certain people. the things that i heard about the situation were much less "advice" and more "critisism." You seeemed almost resentful to the fact that your friends are reaching out to other people. it was bound to happen. whether you are going to salem state or not, you will never be around as much as you were during high school. and during that time when your closest friends would come to you, they needed to find somewhere else to turn. things have changed with relationships, friendships, etc since you have been away, and just be careful from now on with what you say.
