When I registered to vote, I lived in Manhattan. I last voted in 2001 (for the NYC mayoral election). I moved here in Queens two years ago and never bothered to change my registration. I am hoping (assuming?) that, since I didn't change it, I can just go to my old neighborhood in Manhattan and vote. I should probably call and verify that and stop being so lazy.

You should be able to, but if you've changed the info on your driver's license, that may be a problem. You've still got time to re-register.

Well the info on my drivers license never matched up in the first place (I'm listed on thereat my mother's address, where I lived when I got that; and I guess I should change that too). I remember when I voted the last two times, all they did was check my ID for the photo and have me sign the book... I would reregister, but I'm really paranoid that they won't process it time for me to vote here. At least now I know that I am registered, if in the wrong borough. As long as I get to vote, I don't really care what neighborhood what I have to go to. I do promise (knock on wood) to be registered here by at least the next election. I'm sure it'll work out, I just get very paranoid.

Just ask them what the deadline is. They'll tell you if there's still time.
