After the 1980 eruption, Mount St. Helens spoke out about the atrocities of other volcanoes. Killing unjustly, destroying property, generally wreaking havoc.
But I'd rather have a volcano that has seen the horrors of eruptions than a small hill that decided not to be volcanic.
Hmm, I guess that's a good point, but I just saw a commercial by 'Volcanic Seismologists For Truth' stating that Mount St. Helens wasn't nearly as volcanic and powerful as it claims in 1980 and that it does not deserve its heroic reputation. Plus the way the mountain spoke out back then out is kind of disrespectful to the other natural disasters killing people at the time. Granted, I read that 'Truth' guys never actually worked on Mount St. Helens directly, but they were working in the general area (in America for sure), so I'll assume they know what they're talking about.
