Saw a lynx yesterday on the way back from town.
Second one I've seen, but not quick enough on the trigger four years ago. That one was ironically crossing the 'Lynx Road'. The best camera is the one already booted up and ready to go in your pocket, and phone cameras are getting closer and closer to adequate all the time. These things hunt rabbits which are plentiful this year, have super fluffy fur, and move with an odd flowing motion. No history of aggression towards humans, but my primate instincts said no way was I getting out of the truck for a closer look. Things are going OK here, but I've hurt my back and am looking forward to a week off tomorrow.
