............there is a talking llama in the room beside where I am residing...........

I have met several unique people through the network, but to see such a character in real life? ....it is rather mind-boggling....

Llamas do not have the capacity in their vocal cords to be able to produce the sounds that humans require to communicate, and yet ( Read more... )

A llama is a large camelid that is usually found in South America, known for its long ears and fur, as well as its strange defense mechanism of spitting at people.

Please think of it at something along the lines of a very large goat. :)

Goat? Is that like a chocobo?

Okay, buddy, listen.

This.. this llama-thing I'm going for is NOT the real me. This scary-beyond-all-reason old woman named Yzma wanted to take over my thrown but wound up turning me INTO a LLAMA. Don't ask me how; that woman is just a straaaaaaaaaange old lady.

Now if you'll esxcuse me, I'm going to see if I can find the peasant that Galen lady person and see about food, cause maaaan I am HUNGRY.

That......sounds rather false sounds like a rather ludicrous story, if you will excuse my boldness. As well as being scientifically dubious.

I was under the impressions that llamas fed from grass in the fields? If I may ask, why would you need to request aid from Mrs. Galen for that?

Talking animals are not as strange as one would think. All creatures have the ability to talk to humans. Whether the human is willing to listen or understand is a completely different matter.

You must be Raziel, a pleasure to meet you. I am Aerin Renkruia, an acquaintance of Galen's. Do not be alarmed if you hear any raucous singing or yelling from down in the kitchen. We're most likely catching up on events and sharing stories. However, it seems likely we will be drinking outside of the house, so you will not have to worry about anything that may or may not disrupt your sleep.

Perhaps this is something not unusual in different worlds? I personally find this rather shocking, as I have been studying science for a large part of my life, which dictates that what is happening is impossible....

A pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Aerin, I shall keep that in mind. I shall also prepare some hangover cures, as I assume you might be needing them the next morning?

In these passing days, the impossible are becoming increasingly possible. Perhaps it is best we forget what science and logic dictates for now.

Eh? Oh no, I shall be fine. Nothing some fresh air and a bit of flying can't fix.

Perhaps so....

.....f-flying? If...I may be so bold as to ask, uhm....is it safe to navigate an aircraft under the influence of alcohol?

Oh right, the emperor that was turned into a llama by some crazy lady. Interesting guy, isn't he (though a tad on the rude side from what I've seen).

Interesting, perhaps. Rather imposing, as well. I am not quite sure of how to treat him, I must admit. (And yes, rather rude; the way in which he treats Mrs. Galen is atrocious.)

Be nice to him for now, I guess. When I come back, I'll make sure he's nicer to Galen.

I shall attempt to do so. ....though, how does one be nice to a llama that is in denial?

Dude! You're actually living with the llama? That's just...kinda weird. Say his to it for me, willya? It's pretty interesting to see a talking animal like that. O_O

Oh, and hey, I haven't seen you around before! M'Axl Low, nice to meetcha! You've been staying with Galen, right?

Mrs. Galen has been kind enough to provide me shelter, as well as the...llama, resulting in the two of us being in rooms adjacent to each other. He is indeed...an interesting animal.

A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Low. Raziel Hailowe, at your service.

Oh dude, Galen's an awesome person, isn't she? ^^ She helped me big time a while back too.

And dude, a talking llama, how much better can you get! Though I guess he was kinda dumb and rude...but still! A talking llama! I saw a talking cat yesterday too! :O

And just call me Axl. ^^; "Mr." makes me feel all scrubby and old, yeah?

Yes, she is indeed a very kind person, and I owe her greatly.

The llama is certainly an interesting digression from what is scientifically normal, but not...a particularly pleasant one, I must admit. It rather startles me.

Very well, Axl. A pleasure to meet you. :)
