i just watched Ring on channel 4... the original japanese version... and i'm a little disturbed... not because it scared me but because it didn't scare me as much as i thought it would/should have... the concept of it is strange and the film itself is shot in a surreal manner but it didn't really frighten me... the only bits i viewed with one half

the ring the crap out of me the first time i saw it because i'd never heard of it before, and when my friend told me the concept i phhhssskkked like 'hahahahaha it sounds ridiculous'

i hate it when a film has been overhyped like that, because you always expect something more than it is.
