You Can Win It in a Minute When You Spin It, Spin It, Spin It

Speaking of Kimberly and Scott, they (along with Kimberly's brother, Chris) launched Regator this year, and the site has just been nominated in the Social News category of Mashable's Open Web Awards, "the only multilingual international online voting competition that covers major innovations in web technology."

What is Regator, you ask? I'll let them answer themselves, from the site's FAQ:Regator is a website that gathers the world's best blog posts and organizes them in a way that makes it easy to find the things you need--and fun to discover the things you never knew you wanted. It's here to help you find, discuss, share, rate, and organize information on the topics you care about.
Think of it as a gathering place for the crème de la crème of the blogosphere, with "top-quality blog posts on hundreds of topics from [a] constantly updated directory of hand-picked blogs."

I had a hand in the original picking of that directory (as mentioned here), and have been following Regator's development closely ever since--even if I couldn't make it to their official launch party back in September. :/

LiveJournal is frustratingly unwilling to properly embed Mashable's handy widget for voting, which would mean you (and I) wouldn't have to go anywhere to help them win, but you can still vote for Regator by using said widget on their main page, or by heading directly to Mashable and selecting Regator under "Social News."

You can vote once per email address per day in each category, and you have until midnight on November 30 to do so; in this case, "vote early and vote often" is more than just a facetious figure of speech. ;) The best-known of their competitors is almost certainly Digg, but they won last year, so do they really need to do so again?

I thank you in advance for your help, as do Scott, Kimberly, Chris...and of course, Reginald A. Gator.
