Frustration!

 So Cherry had another position open up (I don't know if the person who got hired last couldn't handle it or if they just made room in their budget for a new one, I am not sure.) So the original closing date was in April, luckily they extended it to May13th, which gave me a chance to apply. I know they got my applicaiton cause they sent me a letter

It might be worthwhile to try contacting them and just say that you wanted to follow up and let them know that you're still interested in the position.
