I have decided I want to have an opus. There is no reason as to why, except I like the word opus. I also enjoy Mr. Holland's Opus. Coincidence? I think not. I'm not sure if the word opus applies only towards music, but I would like to write an opus, that is, minus the music notes and only the words. Opus comes from the Latin word meaning "work." So anything can be an opus.
The big wad of mucus that I cough up can be titled Jeff's Opus. Because hey it took some work to get it up.

I love you, I just read this and just had to say that - I knew exactly what you ment - this should be the first movement or intro or whatever... a work in fluidity is so expressive, its a good depository for emotion :)

yes, just dont metaphorically drink 6 of them before bed. cause that would metaphorically keep you up all night. not that i know from experience or anything :-p

I had an argument a while back about whether or not Eliot's Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock is actually a love poem or not. I don't think that it is.

Accomplishing even a single grand work within a lifetime defies the norm of humanity, and is certainly something to aspire to, I think.
