Nawp, see the piano is hooked up to junk all over the building. For example, one key will power a motor that vibrates a rafter, another pumps air to blow through a pipe in the wall, another makes a doohickey whang against a nearby radiator, etc etc. (I suspect David Byrne would be proud of this description.) Pretty cool!

PROUD MOMENT. I put on my Sophisticated voice while waiting in line (just a Thurston Howell III impression) and said "Well this really transforms the piano into a percussion instrument, doesn't it?" and the people in front of us said "Ahhhh," "Mmm," and "Why, yes!"

Aren't pianos already percussion instruments, what with the hammers whacking the strings?

Yeah man probably! I don't know. It was just something I said while viewing Art, so of course it was bullshit. I was just proud that folks surrounding me bought it.

Yeah I reckon I don't have to have thirteen crystal skulls to predict that there's going to be a million riots no matter what happens re: the elections.

But the world is going to stop spinning in four years so who will care when we all crash into the nearest wall at light speed!

You should try building your own!

I think it's still there, but I'm nowhere near where there is.

I guess I'm off to find an old organ and an abandoned shipyard, then. Things never slow down.

Is it still there? I remember seeing it in Time Out New York and wanting to see it.

See, this is why I should never give you details on Doomsday prophecies...or buy you a red shirt...or send out paintball E-Mails.

Gosh, I'm pretty much responsible for your nightmares. AWESOME!
