Strangely dissatisfying initially, today has been, yet (in retrospect)
I am fully blessed.

Well. Interesting day in Ryan's history. I watched "Bowling for Columbine" today. This movie, as of today, has the distinction of being the first movie I ever cried in. The Columbine coverage was rather saddening, for some reason. I guess I just realized the intense brutality and tragedy of it all. The innocence lost.

Good is God.

That mood was supposed to be "pleased." :o) Heh.

So my band played for the first time as "crashsite" on Saturday night. It was a rousing success for our first show. We sold a whopping 18 demos and over a hundred people came. We really needed that boost as a band. We were feeling crappy about our songs; we had practiced them so much that we forgot why we liked them. So it was quite encouraging ( Read more... )
