Internet also means streaming radio through Winamp, and other shinys. I'm doing okay. -

I've been re-watching Firefly these past few days, a couple of episodes every day. Just to make it last longer. Which isn't entirely true, as I'm actually providing some measure of self-control when it comes to shiny distractions. I have things I should be doing.

I haven't updated in a few days because things have just been hectic and crazy. As they had to be, of course, I knew that.
Friday passed without major incident. Taking stock took us all day and half the night, I wasn't home until after midnight. It was pouring down rain all day which unfortunately meant that not a lot of people were out and ( Read more... ) -
The end of all things
It's here. It's finally Friday, finally the 31st of August, 2007, finally the last day of Me and the Store. The contract has been signed, the lease has been signed over, and tomorrow (or technically at midnight tonight, I suppose), the store and everything in it belong to someone else ( Read more... ) -

We signed the papers on Wednesday. The store is really sold. He can't back out anymore. This is really happening. -

Today was the last day of Malmöfestivalen (which, for you non-Swedes, and even non-Malmöits) is an eight day-long festival of food, free music, and a wide assortment of overpriced knick-knacks. My neighbours (not the next-door ones, for once) had a fight tonight. Or a row, or whatever. It was quite physical, from what I could discern. After getting my awesome new job, my new (and, in all honesty, pretty awesome) boss wants me present when he interviews applicants for the positions in my department.
