I have to say Gaiman is simply an amazing author. I wasn't impressed with Smoke and Mirrors, but im not a "short story" kinda guy. And i started off being unimpressed by anansi boys, so i put it down, started it again, and it's almost like i "got" it. fantastic book, dark and funny and his characters and hats are wonderful etc

Coraline, and Neverwhere, and Stardust (the graphic novel version has the same story with lots of pretty pictures) are all very good novels of his too.

neverwhere i loved, at 3am "ill go to bed after this chapter" then at 9am i was like "that was a fantastic book"
stardust is next in the list and ive not heard of coraline
american gods was rathernifty too
