The sky has been strange recently. A lot of people have been commenting that it doesn't look normal, but a lot of others don't seem to notice this change.

Paranoia would be normal for a person who's coming off their medication...

However, in this case, this is a natural conclusion to come to! This is the most likely judgment of the situation.

Yes!

That is what makes their plan so cunning! They're aware of television's awesome influential power over the masses. They can transmit messages with their technology that would be more effective than any basic advertisement for personal injury lawyers or shampoo!

Unfortunately, in our modern situation it would be impossible to stop the government's methods of forceful persuasion unless you had the right connections to help you spy and sabotage them from within. Outside protest will just cause them to deny that anything is happening, and we'd be expected to return to our homes reassured that nothing is amiss.
