If you've been reading for a few years, you know that I like to write a posting during the hour we get back at the end of Daylight Savings Time. This is a special edition, since I'm writing this three hours later than previous years now that I live in Los Angeles

heh. this morning, i got up half an hour earlier than i normally do so that i could make it to my all-day EMT refresher class, only to discover that thanks to DST, i have actually gotten up AN HOUR AND A HALF EARLIER. fuck you, Woodrow Wilson!!! from hell’s dark heart i stab at thee (and at your golf game)!

Last night, I checked the time on my phone, to discover that the big numbers read 1:30 while the little clock in the upper right read 12:59. Time apparently warps in more than one way during DST.
