Reaction to tonight's episode, spoilers included.
Well, at least this episode had more Sam time so people will be less likely to complain. I mean, I liked learning what Sam was doing during those four months. It makes me happy that we see how he changed, John Winchester 2.0, and that there is a logical reason for why he trusts Ruby, she pulled him from his pit of despair.
I have a theory that Ruby is a plant by Lilith to keep Sam alive and developing his powers because he is either Lucifer or will be the body for Lucifer. If he is Lucifer Lilith probably hopes that Ruby can stop Sam from sending her to the pit for eternity for what she did to Dean. Which if this is the case, it would explain why Dean is not curled into a ball for remembering Hell. Since Sam would have been really angry if Dean was that damaged. So Lilith didn't allow Dean to suffer all the torments of Hell.
I also think that Ruby's attitude is tied to her hair color. As a blond she gets in Sam's face and is confrontational. She becomes a brunette and she does a 180.
I do admit to laughing during the sex scene between Sam and Ruby. It was funny to think about how the boys are shown having sex in alternating seasons. Dean in season 1, Sam in season 2, and neither had a 'nude' sex scene in season 3, but that was probably because of the Writer's Strike. It was also funny to have Sam describe his sexual escapade to Dean, who doesn't appreciate it. Sam was probably getting revenge for all the stories that Dean has told him.
I also think that Castiel looked a little uncomfortable to have to tell Dean that Anna must die, so please hand her over. Uriel seemed happy to be doing his job and to be able to tell Dean off.
I also know now that I shouldn't watch the commercial for next week's episode. If they are going to do what I think they will do I will be pissed.
