Yeah, I'm surrounded by couples here too. Actually, kinda makes me wanna retch.

Also, kinda makes me wonder how ALL the women seem to be lesbians, taken, in high school, or some combination thereof. Then again, maybe I just haven't checked in a while?

But we miss you up here.

I don't think wanting something and not wanting it simultaneously is a strange feeling. It feels strange while in the process of going through it but I think that we've all come across that feeling towards something in our lives. I totally know what you mean about talking a lot and then little to someone. I mean, realistically didn't we say that happens to us the last time I saw you? lol. I wish I could talk more often to wonderful people like you but alas, parenthood has consumed my life at the moment. Adding work and school to the mix just cuts me off even more so from the social word but I'm trying my best not to lose friends like you who truly mean a lot to me. I really want you to always know that in your heart :)

You know, while reading this I have realized something that makes me feel sick to my stomach... I'm an awful friend. No, seriously, I am. You're probably one of the greatest people I know and one of the rare few people from High School I still want to keep regular contact with and what do I do? Never call, never visit... hell, I never even MySpace message anymore. Matt, I'm sorry I've failed you and I'm sorry it took this post for me to realize that. If you still want to keep regular contact with me, I'd like that. As for your woes these days, it's not unusual to feel this way every so often. Sometimes it just feels unsettling to be doing the same thing or talk to the same people for too long and it happens to everyone. I hope you feel better soon and that you can find happiness, either in something new or in something you've already got.

Actually, you busy next weekend? Joe and I pretty much go up to Victorville every weekend to visit some mutual friends of ours who live in Hesperia but we usually only stop by long enough to visit them and then we drive home. Next weekend, however, we're gonna take a day to visit some family as well and I'd love for us to grab some dinner with you on Sunday night before we head back up the hill! What say you... you busy next Sunday?
