My weekend of Search and Rescue Training
I spent Saturday and Sunday at the Lansing airport participating in "Operation Wolverine", one of Civil Air Patrol's Search and Rescue exercises.
That's me in the upper right, going over a check-list in preparation for going up flying. In the foreground, an experienced pilot is teaching two Cadets how to read an aeronautical chart.
