I make the mistake of forming very few close relationships at all outside of my immediate family unit. There are some spousal reasons for this - but most of the reasons have more to do with my own social ineptness than anyone else. Its wierd. I get really quiet when introduced to another person and am very rarely the life of a party - but during the primary elections earlier in the year - I stood on tops of cars and organized several thousand strangers I had never seen before in my life. My usually quiet voice was so straigned by the end of the day that it was non-existent
