1- I have the most huge writer's block I ever had. Yeah, you'll tell me, you posted a drabble a week ago. I'll answer that it was written ages ago, just not posted before. I have free time to write, but I don't feel like it. Oh, do suru??!!

2- I'm hallucinating commodores. During the last conference I attended, the teacher in front of the class's ( Read more... )

Oh wow! To have a hallucination like that!! That's funny, too that his name is Turner. ^^;

"Too much POW" you say? I completely agree! For me, too! I just can't enough of it. I've been dying to re-watch Band of Brothers now as well. I love WWII dramas, in addition to all the 'Age of Sail' dramas. :)

Ah...Band of Brothers. Excellent series. And it has Jamie Bamber! Whatever can be better? Me, POW gave me the urge to watch Memphis Belle again, what with Jim Caddon being a sexy flyboy and all. Period dramas are the best. But then, I have a degree in history, so it's only natural I love them so much!

Concerning Rome: I may send it to you either by IM (Messenger, LJ Talk, you name it) if you have a good connexion (the file's 500MB). Otherwise, you can get it by torrent, though I think it's the American version(shorter, with no British narrator). Or, there's always the good ol' mail. You name it!

Yes! Too bad Jamie wasn't in more! I started the series knowing he was there and on the look out for him. I watched it with my friends at work and every time a new guy came 'round this one guy would ask, 'is that Jamie Bamber?' It was pretty funny. When he finally showed up, they were happy only because I'd finally shut up! I'm a history minor, so I completely understand the love! I've never seen Memphis Belle, well, only the beginning, but never all the way through.
And oh yes, to the "sexy flyboy" bit...

As for Rome, the only messenger I have at the moment is AIM, but I wonder if somehow I could use LJ Talk since I (obviously) have LJ. Of course, there's always megaupload.com or gigasize.com, which I'm part of both of those. I don't want to be trouble for YOU, so whatever you prefer, I'm fine with it. :)

Mmmh, megaupload sounds fine, and the file isn't too big, so it'll work. I'll let you know when I upload the thing. Probably thursday or friday, because my connexion here sucks, while at home, it is uber fast. Hem, email me your adress, and I will write you when it's done. Otherwise, I'll write it here.

You should watch Memphis Belle! Not only it is a good movie, but it's full of pretty boys!

Yeah well, for me it was my fiancee who suffered through the first six episodes or so before Jamie appeared. And suffered my disappointment after because I thought he has a more important part.

Thank you :) See icon ;)

Funny how you're here just after I've spent some time lurking in your LJ, worshipping your icons! May I friend you, so I can worship some more (you don't have to friend back)?

Yeah well, and I also have a Gillette look-alike in my department. PotC is everywhere! Now, if only they don't screw Norrington's character in the next movie, I will be totally happy! Because, though I love Scruffington, for me, real men wear brocade. And ruffles.

How could I not friend you?! :D

Glad you like the icons. Not sure if they're worship-worthy, but I do appreciate the thought. ;)

Mmmmm...ruffles.....

A Gillette look-alike too? I totally work in the wrong place. lol And it was Gillette that was in POW with James D'Arcy, right? Woohoo! I love it when fandoms collide. Oi.
