why not just look at the size of an mp3, convert it to wav, and then use that ratio to multiply it by the size of your group of mp3s and get a rough estimate of what they would be in wav, if im understanding you correctly.

Because the mp3's vary in bit-rates, and the WAV is encoded in quality accordingly. Tried that, doesnt work.

Did work out a rough value of about 90mb of mp3's per cd, works well. Capped the number of tracks at 15 anyway to make sorting easier.

Still, that utility would be handy.
