would be interesting to compare side by side, then watch me cry when u got your 210kw :P
I resolve never to go turbo,... too many headfucks and too many things that can get in the way and taken out if something bad does happen,... of course it doesnt happen all the time but the horror stories are enough to make me want to stay away...
does it have the kick in the pants feeling when the boost comes on? mmm, booost,... I know your gonna have lots afun with ya 210 just dont kill yaself!!!
It would be. Dont get me wrong, i love the crispness of a n/a...i never really believed in turbo's untill i went for a drive in a 180sx.
Still plenty of response, sure...you have to know how to account for lag, put your foot down a split second early but that really is an insane amount of fun....especially given if you get it a little wrong, the back steps out...which in a 180sx, is so so predictable and so so easy to control (the whole reason i got it).
Rather that than, say, an mr2, where once the backs gone, your gone.
But yeah...drives like a lancer down low...nice and smooth (valet switch with a 3000rpm limiter makes it g/f safe) but after that....ohhh yes...even on the stock turbo...it really kicks in and then it just pushes back in your seat till redline. In the blink of an eye your doing 120kph, but its so stable it feels like 70.
ooo sounds like you have what I desire in cars,... mines pretty much the same handling wise, back kicks out and you can ride it if you know what your doing :) if you dont you either fishtail or you end up doing a 270 spin which isnt good for the driveline when your doing 120!
mmm yeah one thing I really do love is turbo's kick in the pants when they come on song,... my first ever ride in a turbo car was a 250kw 98 rx7... NOTHING will compare to that hit of boost anymore :( lol my mates v8 has a lot of kick in the guts and now im sittin there going wheres the acceleration? this is slow lol
ooo thats pretty kool to have the rev limiter at 3000 for when u dont want boost :) keep me updated and if ya ever bored and see a british racing green 82 rx7 with fog lights thats me (so far as I know only rx7 with that colour)

1000kg car, with a 4cyl *turbocharged* engine, putting out 130kw from the rear wheels (soon to be 210).
No bodykit, no rims, no stereo, no lights.
