There's this thing called The Gender Genie. I fed it some of my writing. The results amuse me greatly.

These are all your works?

For my most recent posts combined...
Words: 559
Female Score: 417
Male Score: 654
The Gender Genie thinks the author of this passage is: male!

But I have a pretty masculine thought style, I've been told. Shrug!
P.S. it ranked Thomas Pynchon as "female!"

1) I was actually not expecting to see an update, I came here to tell you that I had just Googled "'kyle fiegener' obituary" and came up with no results, which means that you are obviously not dead and therefore do not have an excuse for not updating. Clearly you had already realized this, but I felt like informing you anyways, just so you know that whenever I go for a couple months without hearing from you, you're pretty much dead until proven otherwise ( ... )

The only thing I could really argue with is your sort-of oversimplification of the English language. Or I could if I could adequately explain exactly what I mean by that, but it seems to be a purely intuitive feeling on my part that defies any attempt to put it into words. So, uh...nevermind, I guess.

I am perfectly willing to accept (and even suspect) that there could be an observable difference in the average tendency to speak/think in absolutes between men and women. It would be wrong to speak of such trends as if they were constants/rules, and/or assume they have a biological cause, and/or cite them to predict, explain, or excuse the actions/behavior of an individual; but you didn't do any of those things, so no foul.

I actually know exactly what you're talking about, because after re-reading it, I get that general feeling too, and I'm just as incapable of putting it in words. I chalk it up to the fact that everybody around me was being very stupid that day, which put me in a really bad mood, and it was making me a little...aggressive, I guess.

So I know I'm a little early, but I'm gonna be elsewhere tomorrow, so here you go.

NOT THAT YOU'LL EVER SEE THIS OR ANYTHING SINCE YOU APPARENTLY DON'T EXIST ANYMORE.

SQUEEEE!!!

This is, contrary to all notions of goodness and its limits previously possessed by myself, even better than Noir.

Now to find a working "download youtube videos to your hard drive" greasemonkey script.

Yay! I was afraid you would never see it, and all of my hard work* and personal sacrifice** would be for naught.

And if you ever wanted to GET ON AIM, I could just send you the file all legitimately and such.

* "hard work" = singing, being a dweeb, not editing in the slightest, and uploading
** "personal sacrifice" = brother hearing me singing Happy Birthday repeatedly while alone in my room and thinking I am not right in the head
