we will talk about this later in person, but 2 things:
One, is that you were doing great beginning of the semester. When you DO do well, don't just hope it will stay like that, figure out exactly what you're doing that IS working. That way, if something causes that to stop, you can figure out how to fix it faster.
The other is along the lines of what Sean said. You absolutely have to study every single night. Maybe not as much Saturday and Friday nights, but you can't really afford to spend an entire day not thinking about schoolwork. College is perhaps best at making you think you have about twice as much time and half the work that you once did. It's terribly insidious.
We'll definitely talk more in person about the english work, too...that's a hugely misleading sort of class. It requires MORE TIME then other classes, even when you think you get it. Justin screwed himself in his history class because he couldn't figure that out, you and I both saw that.
