So it's not done - I had to take a personal day today to stay home YET AGAIN for the kitchen to get done. They didn't show up until noon yesterday, and it was only one guy, with the main guy "at a bigger job - that's where I was until now" (because see, my little job isn't as important). Nice weekend - crazy busy while being relaxing at the same time. Up at 5, feeling rested and ready to go. Work yesterday was ROUGH. Spent 3/4 of it trying to figure out ways to make things less stressful for my team, after a meltdown in a meeting that had a huge number of people in it, by one of my team, who was pushed over the edge. Day 3 of my team being down to 3, with me taking on my job and the job of 3 others...and if anything, it's actually easier and more enjoyable. The mood of my group is very positive, very light and happy, and very supportive of one another. I'm finding skills buried in the others that I'd never have seen otherwise. Totally wasn't allergies, although I'm sure they didn't help - totally WAS a cold, or conference crud, or whatever. I really wish I could call in sick today. Starting Weds at the conference in Cincinnati, I started sneezing and my nose started running - sure it was allergies, I started taking my Zyrtec - when I finally got home at 10:30, my throat was SO sore, my head pounding, and I barely slept. Both kids moved their stuff home as of yesterday - my house is SO FULL.

Part of me is annoyed.

A bigger part is happy.  =)
