fun concert tomorrow

There will be a fun benefit concert tomorrow by the Gloucester Hornpipe & Clog Society, which will offer a rollicking evening of music from Celtic, New England, sea chanty, and Canadian traditions. All proceeds will go to the Rebekah Carter Fund to help pay the expenses of the 11- and 13-year-old sons of the step-sister of a dear friend of mine.

We would like to go and will try to go; but, E has been sick and as a result, cranky lately, especially if he's keep up past the more reasonable end of bedtime range. So, we may compromise: go for the beginning, leave after an hour or so. We shall see...
