I have heard that before about vitamin D deficiency causing P, although I can't testify to its accuracy. But my P did clear up when i started going on daily multi vitamins and going out for a long run 2-3x a week...
I know my dermas always strongly denied that there was any link between P and vitamins or diet. I think they just want to

I take one of those "one-a-day women's" and also some fish oil.
My P isn't gone, but it has cleared up significantly.

Thank you! I recently switched jobs, so I don't get insurance for 3 months...which means that I can't afford my OLUX , or to see the derma for a little bit, I am trying to get my P under control until I have insurance again. I've been using sunlight and it helps, but wanted to give vitamins a try!

Living in the Northern latitudes, many docs are prescribing at least 2000 IU vit D per day (where the sun don't shine so much this time of year). Basically, anything north of Portland, OR.
